    The Utah Children¹s Choir was founded in 1984 and has a history of outstanding concerts, choral festivals, and community performances.  The choir has toured several states as well as performed in Florence and Rome, Italy.  They have sung in major concert halls in this country including Carnegie Hall, the National Cathedral, Maurice Abravanel Hall, the Cathedral of the Madeldine., and St. Peter¹s Basilica in Rome.  The  choir was one of the festival choirs to perform with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir in their Sunday morning broadcast, ³Music and the Spoken Word.²  For the 2002 Olympics the choir sang in the pre-Olympic Festival, Voices of Friendship in the LDS Conference Center.   Members of the choir have performed as the children¹s chorus in the BYU Opera productions of Carmen, La Boheme, and Hansel & Gretel   The choir has  participated in the Festival of Gold in Salt Lake City three different times, taking home high honors and a first place.  This year, 2008-09, the UCC  will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary.
